Description and Application
An optical splitter is an integrated waveguide optical power distribution device based on a quartz substrate, which is used to realize the splitting and combining of optical wave energy. It distributes the optical energy transmitted in an optical fiber to two or more optical fibers in accordance with the established ratio, or synthesizes the optical energy transmitted in multiple optical fibers into a single optical fiber. With small size, wide range of operating wavelengths, high reliability, good uniformity of light splitting, etc., it is especially suitable for passive optical networks (EPON, BPON, GPON, etc.) to connect the local office and terminal equipment and to realize the splitting of optical signals. KunYou Optronics can provide a full range of 1×N and 2×N products, as well as customized optical splitters for various applications. All products comply with Telcordia GR-1209-CORE, Telcordia GR-1221-CORE, YD/T1117-2001 standards, and have been certified by TLC.
