The Zhongguancun International Frontier Technology Competition, established in 2017 by the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission and the Zhongguancun Administrative Committee, aims to closely track the development trends of cutting-edge technologies. Through a format of "global invitation, free exploration, and public roadshows," the competition gathers enterprises and teams with internationally leading frontier technologies, creating a high-level international platform for showcasing and exchanging cutting-edge technologies. It also fosters an innovation ecosystem conducive to the development of frontier technologies. As a key component of the Zhongguancun Forum, the competition has grown into a high-level international platform for frontier technology competition and exchange.

The 7th edition of the competition, themed "Pioneering New Frontiers, Cultivating New Momentum for Development," was launched on May 28, 2023. It attracted 3,164 projects from 75 countries and regions across 8 global competition zones. After 59 regional and sector-specific competitions, the top 10 projects in fields such as biomedicine, artificial intelligence, big data, and cloud computing were selected as the "Zhongguancun Frontier Technology TOP10." Among these, 22 outstanding projects advanced to the global finals to compete for the championship, second place, and third place. Building on its outstanding performance in the regional and sector-specific competitions, North Ocean Photonics demonstrated remarkable strength and immense potential in the finals, successfully securing third place in the 7th Zhongguancun International Frontier Technology Competition!
