Recently, the final and award ceremony of the 2024 Shanghai High-Value Patent Operation Competition, jointly organized by the Shanghai Technology Exchange, Shanghai University Science and Technology Development Center, and Shanghai Intellectual Property Service Center, was successfully held. Through on-site roadshows, Q&A sessions, and expert team evaluations, North Ocean Technology's patent project "R&D and Industrialization of AR Diffraction Waveguides" won the first place and was awarded the "Patent Operation Benchmark Award" in the enterprise group of the 2024 Shanghai High-Value Patent Operation Competition.

The competition, which started in July and concluded in December, lasted 143 days. It attracted 303 projects covering strategic emerging industries such as biomedicine, new materials, high-end equipment manufacturing, new-generation information technology, and energy conservation and environmental protection, gathering a group of high-value patent projects with industry-leading advantages. After initial online evaluations and top 100 online and offline semi-final roadshows, North Ocean Technologies stood out with its outstanding capabilities in high-value patent operation, entered the top 20 in the enterprise group, and ultimately won the "Patent Operation Benchmark Award" in the enterprise group with the first-place score.
